Ready, Fire, Aim – 5 Key Behaviors of Highly Successful Entrepreneurs – FA104

Super Successful Entrepreneurs Do These Five Things,
Do You?

Dan Andrews, of the Lifestyle Business Podcast, and I sit down to have a discussion on success traits. We decided to discuss a presentation I gave to his TMBA Startup attendees where I shared 10 behaviors of highly successful entrepreneurs.

Inside this episode, we cover 5 of those behaviors (Dan picked) that can have a huge impact on your business and your life if you’re willing to implement them in your business.

The 5 Key Behaviors we cover are:

  • Ready, Fire, Aim!
  • Master of Details
  • Adversity Challenger
  • Disciplined
  • Systemizer

I hope you get a lot from this episode, but I have a warning…

There was heavy construction going on all day and we couldn’t find a quiet enough place anywhere so you will hear a lot of pounding of hammers. You can easily make out what Dan and me are saying, but it does get a bit annoying. I know, I edited the show.

Check it out and let us know other Key Behaviors of Highly Successful Entrepreneurs.

Enjoy your Foolish Adventure,

Tim “Hammer Time” Conley

    The on-page mp3 link points to #103 I think…

    Fixed it. Thanks.

Great episode, as always. The “ready fire aim” line is sweeeet. Added to the motto wall!
So, where can I view/pay-per-view the presentation itself? :)
    Best wishes,Chris

Always get great information when you and Dan do an episode of Foolish Adventure, even if there is construction and children in the background.

I think Dan has a really crappy audio recording from the session I gave, but I may try to turn it into a Foolish presentation soon.

Thanks James. Drives me nuts to have bad audio, but I put it out there anyway. Killed one episode I recorded with a TMBA attendee because there was a constant stream of hammering noise. If it had a rhythm I would have kept it, but all it did was give me a headache.

    Go for it!

In relation to “master of details” and “disciplined”, I’d say it’s pretty important to know when to kill something/wrap it/finish and move on.

It’s easy to get lost in the detail and work on something for too long, so developing a sense of when something is finished would be pretty important.

IMO, done is better than perfect. Shipping over tinkering.

Don’t blame you Tim. I’m a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to media as well. Keep up the great work.
