You will definitely learn a lot about creating and growing in your niche and get some tips to optimize your site and videos.

A couple things mentioned in the interview:

This one is a great interview though we had skype audio difficulties.

Super interesting interview Izzy and Tim. I knew next to nothing about SEO and WordPress plugins – great info and good interview. I wrote down OIO Publisher, Double Click for Publishers, and W3 Total Cache. I’m far from being ready for those plugins but I wrote them down anyway for future reference :) . I also wrote down Elance from a prevous podcast :) .

Also, video convo was great. I read recently video is the top marketing tool out there and interactive video is soon to be the next “big” thing. Know anything about HTML5?

    P.S Chai tea! I knew I couldn’t be the only one . . . :)

This was very informative – the few little blips were hardly noticeable. I was expecting to see your faces however, since you were doing Skype! Seriously, this is a great tool for my consultant client, so I’m happy to have learned about this format.

Looking forward to Yoast! How will I know when it’s available?

Thank you Izzy, Tim and Mark. Going to continue enjoying Foolish Adventure.com

Just listened to this as a podcast on my way to work yesterday. Mark is so right about connecting with others in your niche. People are friendly and genuinely engage with you more than you think. I’ve only been able to reach out in a limited capacity so far, but the connecting I have done has been truly beneficial. This cannot be underestimated as a tool to growing your online presence.

    Thanks guys!

This is so true and easy to do. I’ve been a little shy to do it because I want to add some more content to my website.

I’m thinking about the YouTube thing again too. Mark said it was the #2 search engine in the US. I should go back and choose a user name that is more informative than my own and better for searching.

Additionally, I’ve been focusing on getting just Google to know my site. I’m wondering if I have to go over to Bing and Yahoo and introduce my site to them. I don’t even know if what I’m saying makes sense.

Thanks for the great podcast! Good questions! Lots of good tips!

    Kellie,

Do NOT wait until you have more content. I actually reached out to others because I wanted more content. I was looking for guest authors and contributors, and have met awesome people I would otherwise not have contacted. They are in the same boat as us and looking to drive traffic to their sites as well. So, having them guest post gives my site new and great content, while at the same time working to drive visitors to their sites. Furthermore, my site gets promoted also because those guest authors will tell their readers/followers/fans to check out their article that is posted on my site. It’s just a big circle and helps everyone.

    Good luck!

    Phil
