Use Social Media To Supercharge Your Business With Laura Roeder – FA111

In this episode…

A Few Simple Techniques Turned A Social Media Dunce Into A Social Media Savant

Okay, so even the amazing LKR couldn’t make me social media smart (might have something to do with the ‘smart’ part), but Laura Roeder does share some great tactics on using social media to engage with your market (you know, like real people).

I really enjoyed this episode and took lots of notes to make my social media strategy better. I’ve already started implementing some of the Twitter suggestions Laura made and will be improving my Facebook strategy very soon.

Follow along as Laura schools me on using Twitter and Facebook to connect with people and then implement these tactics in your social media strategy.

    Really enjoyed this episode.
I’ve always been fearful of sending out too many Tweets thinking it would turn people off. But after listening to the show it makes sense that people don’t go through every Twwet.
I’ve created lists that contain the people I most want to hear what they have to say. So the people on those lists I read every Tweet.
I’ve never thought of Twitter as a place to engage people in conversation but I will certainly make an effort to do that and see how it works out.

Keep the great episodes coming! One day I’m going to be a guest host here! :)

Even after having Laura on I’m still not tweeting enough of my own stuff. Gonna have to work on that.

Kevin, you’re welcome to come on talk video or even the gains you’ve gotten from doing SEO.

Great episode. I’ve had the same problems as you, Tim. Your questions and the answers were concrete. Good work!

This was a fantastic podcast. I love Laura’s philosophy on social media. I think a lot of people try to game the system, but your tactics seem to be very intuitive, ex. with twitter “talk like you are speaking to a friend”. Very cool, thanks guys!

Really great Interview. After long years of “Social-Media-Marketing-Dryland” I finally get the clue how this media might really work. Nice Points you are making. I’m working on a blogpost about this Postcase episode and will get back to you when done.
