How To Become A Virtual CEO: A Conversation With Chris Ducker – FA064

Having control of my life is important to me. I’ve arranged my life so that I can do what I want on my schedule without needing to ask permission of a boss. However, I have limited my success by not getting better at management.

You can’t have really big success without the help of others.

I didn’t want employees because I didn’t want the imposition on my freedom. Wow, was I wrong!

I’ve watched Chris Ducker, through his blog VirtualBusinessLifestyle.com, transform himself into a Virtual CEO. This episode is a conversation with Chris to see how we regular folk can use the power of outsourcing and virtual management to build really successful companies like Chris.

Chris has a service for helping entrepreneurs find high-quality virtual assistants that I will be using in the next couple of weeks. I personally know several business owners who have used this service and have had great results. If you are in need of virtual staff then do yourself a favor and visit Virtual Staff Finder.

Thanks go out to Dan Andrews of LifestyleBusinessPodcast.com for connecting me to Chris Ducker.

I highly recommend you take some notes when listening to this episode. That way you can craft your Virtual CEO plan for growing your business while keeping control of your lifestyle.

Enjoy your Foolish Adventure,

Tim “Virtually Successful” Conley

Two of my favorite people! :D Great to hear you guys on here… totally agreed that Skype was the #1 enabler for this ‘virtual’ lifestyle for me.

Thanks for introducing us.  I don’t know if you remember the voip services that were around before skype — back when DSL was a smokin’ 512k.  Back then voip sucked.  It wasn’t until Internet access got faster and then skype came out with a workable system that didn’t lose every other word spoken that we got a truly international communication tool… for free!

Ok, so I’m listening to the podcast right now. Loving the intro, loving the content so far too. But Tim, You’re FREAKIN ME OUT, LOL. You are only in my left ear (on my headset), so every time you talk, there’s like a weird thing happening in my brain, lol.

Hey great job so far. I can see that we’re in for some cool changes. Keep up the good work (and fix that freaky left ear thing;)

Wow. I didn’t notice that when I first produced it. I’ll get a new file uploaded by this evening. Not sure what happened.

I fixed the file. Uploaded the wrong one. iTunes version is correct now too.

Sweet, but was just giving you a hard time. Thanks for fixing though :)

I’m glad you told me. No one else let me know I blundered. I spent hours processing the audio so it would sound good and then accidentally uploaded the wrong file. I hate making those kinds of errors.

WOW … what a difference a little audio processing does! On the second listen so much better… didn’t even think to tip you off ….
